Vasanthi works as a Quality Assurance Specialist from home and is responsible for auditing lines sent by quality control team members by the way of both online and offline audits.

Vasanthi is a certified medical transcriptionist (CMT) and provides timely and consistent feedback to all the quality control team members regarding quality issues. She keeps a constant check on areas of concern and holds regular feedback sessions with the QC team members to eliminate repetition of errors. Vasanthi has been a trainer and is an asset to the quality assurance team.

"My love of the English language and innate interest in the medical field (of which I could not become an active part earlier in life) drew me to this industry and has inspired me to stay, learn and grow with it."  

In her role as a quality assurance team member, Vasanthi needs to constantly update her knowledge of medical terminology, grammar, punctuation, and style guide. She needs to have excellent written and oral communication skills in order to be able to give effective feedback to the quality control team members.

"Besides the tangible qualifications of good English language, a great deal of focus, self discipline, time management, analytical skills, a contextual thought process and an eye for detail are of paramount importance."

The fact that she is playing a very important role in patient care by taking care of the quality of the medical records motivates her the most. She feels that she is being recognized for her efforts and is very happy to be a proud member of the Acusis family.

Vasanthi prefers working from home so that she is able to strike that delicate balance between work and home.

"I was given the opportunity of working from home with all the essential requisites for doing so. Working at home is technologically made comfortable and easy by able and innovative N&S and Software team working round the clock in Acusis. Kudos to them!"
