Acusis is pleased to introduce AcuMobile for the iPhone®.

AcuMobile gives clinicians the ability to capture patient encounters on an ever-growing mobile platform, while providing many advantages over standard dictation methods. AcuMobile is an easy to use application allowing clinicians to view their patient schedule, capture patient encounters, and review reports from a device they already own. When connected to a cellular or wireless network, AcuMobile will send dictated files immediately to Acusis for transcription, positively impacting turnaround times and the patient-clinician experience.

Features

Dictate Anywhere

AcuMobile has two modes for dictation: online mode and offline mode. Online mode gives you full access to the features of the application including instant dictation sending, access to patient schedules, and report review. Offline mode allows you to dictate without network access and then send the dictation when connectivity is restored.

Flexible Voice Capture

AcuMobile allows you to record and capture clinical narrative on a device you already own, eliminating the need for multiple dictation devices. You have the ability to record, pause, and playback the audio at any point. You also have the ability to insert, overwrite, or append additional audio if needed.

Review Patient Schedules

With a compatible demographic feed, AcuMobile can display your patient schedule for the current, future, or past dates. With a single tap of the screen, begin recording the narrative on each patient listed on the schedule. Once the dictation is complete, a completion indicator can be viewed within each patient record.

Electronically Sign Reports

The report viewer in AcuMobile allows you to browse the calendar and review completed reports. Once a report is opened, the narrative can be reviewed and electronically signed from your phone.

AcuMobile has a wide array of settings that allows you to customize how the application will perform.

Security

At Acusis, we ensure your data and information is secure. AcuMobile takes advantage of the iPhone’s closed architecture to protect your data. No other program or user has access to the data contained within AcuMobile. In addition, all of the communication to and from your iPhone is secured with 256 bit encryption.

AcuMobile follows strict authentication protocols for passwords including strength rules and automatic expiration after 30 days. The application will also automatically log you off after a period of inactivity; however, you have the ability to choose how long the period of inactivity should be. In addition, files on the device will be automatically removed based on your preferences. You even have the option to remove all voice files from the device once the file has been sent successfully.
