Single Web-Based Interface

eTranscribe is the web-based solution for hospitals, clinics, and individual doctors. Each category of users that exist in a hospital scenario uses the single integrated platform, be it physicians, medical records and transcription team, administrators, or your IT staff. Based on their role and access privileges, each user sees his or her respective interfaces and features.

Because the platform is web-based, there is no need to install software on individual PCs and there is little or no maintenance required.

Dictation Capture Services

AcuSuite® provides different options to capture dictations including a Telephone Dictation System, Digital Voice Recorders, and the ability to import voice files from existing hospital dictation systems.

Document Processing

Based on the role and access privileges of the user, various document processing features are available, including:

• View status of dictation/transcription
• Listen to dictation
• Search for transcription based on user defined fields
• Save frequently used searches
• View and edit transcription
• View document history
• Manage attending physicians
• Forward transcription to attending
• Electronically sign transcription
• Print, e-mail, or fax transcription

Print – Fax – E-mail Services

Transcriptions can be printed, faxed, or e-mailed based on different criteria and times. They can be routed to different printers, fax numbers, or e-mail addresses based on report types, locations, or dictators. Transcriptions can be faxed, e-mailed or printed to attending, referring, or CC doctors. This routing can occur when the transcript is received, edited, or electronically signed.

Interface Capabilities

Transcription normally requires two interfaces: one for patient information to Acusis, and one for transcription delivery to your EMR/EHR. Acusis has extensive experience developing interfaces to health information and medical records systems. Our software engineers configure our flexible interface technology to accommodate the requirements of your system.

We are able to provide HL7, fixed length file, Excel, or .csv interfaces to the identified systems according to your specifications. All interface and installation support for these interfaces is done at no charge.

Reports

Acusis offers a number of standard reports through its web-based interface detailing dictated reports, turnaround times, line and Visible Black Character (VBC) counts subtotaled by clinic, doctor, report type, and date range. Customized reports can also be developed for specific purposes.

Speech Recognition

Acusis offers back-end speech recognition for qualifying dictators. Once a dictator is qualified the dictations will be routed to the speech engine before going to a speech recognition (SR) editor.
